One of the things you will begin to see on the blog is that I LOVE to revamp things. Take the old and create something new. I have a lot of fun seeing how far I can stretch the budget and get creative along the way! Here is one such example…
We had a 40-50 gallon fish tank stand that we had no idea what to do with after we moved the tank that sat on it to another stand. We knew we didn’t want to get rid of it. It didn’t take us long to figure out what to do with it.
Our entry way is very narrow. I have always wanted a stand to go by the front door that I could hide baskets in with our gloves, hats, and scarves.
The fish tank stand was the perfect size! However, not our taste or style. So we decided to change that. I painted the wood black, we slated the top and put an a molding around the slate to finish the look…..
Would you know that it was a fish tank stand before?
