This is the same recipe that is in the meatloaf post. I just wanted it to be easier to find for anyone looking for it.
I went to a local grocery store yesterday and bought their homemade salsa that is made fresh in store. They have the same ingredients in them as mine….which would you prefer?

Salsa Recipe:
Supply List:
4 Assorted bell peppers
1 Red onion
1 Lemon
1 Lime
1 Hot pepper of your choice (Use caution!!! These things freaking BURN like no tomorrow if you get it into your eye by accident! I use gloves now when handling them. I got tired of scrubbing my hands and still burning my eyes a day or two afterwards. If you decide that these are not worth your time, you can always use mild to hot pepper flakes instead.)
2 Tomatoes
Cilantro
Garlic or garlic powder (if using fresh garlic about 1-2 cloves)
Salt
Pepper
A strainer to squeeze the lemon and lime into
Knife
Cutting Board
Bowl
Instructions:
Dice the bell peppers, red onion, tomatoes, hot pepper (if using fresh), garlic (if using fresh) and put into the bowl.
Squeeze the lemon and lime into a strainer over the bowl.
- This is the reason for the strainer, to squeeze the lemon and lime into. AKA SEEDS. Unless you like the seeds in your salsa, then by all means you can skip this part. If you do not have a strainer, squeeze them into a separate bowl and remove the seeds if you desire and add the juice to the salsa bowl.
Add (to taste) the salt, pepper, cilantro, garlic powder (if not using fresh), red pepper flakes (if not using fresh).
You can either use immediately or store in a container and place in the fridge to use the following day. The difference will be the taste. The flavors will blend overnight.
