Meatballs are one of the easiest things to make (freeze beautifully) and can be used in several dishes. Ranging from soups, to subs and several other meals in between. I LOVE to make double the amount and freeze them. All I can say is YUM!
2 lbs Ground meat (I used hamburger)
Onion or shallot
About 1/2 cup Bread crumbs ( I used panko)
About 1-2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (Optional! Sometimes I use it, sometimes I do not. This time I did.)
Dice up the shallot or onion.
Add hamburger, shallot, panko, seasonings and Worcestershire sauce (Still optional.) to the bowl.
Roll a small amount in your hands until it forms a ball. The bigger the ball, the longer it takes to cook. The size is completely up to you. I made mine about an 1 inch in diameter.
Place of baking sheet.
Bake at 425 until golden brown and thoroughly cooked inside (about 20-30 minutes).
