Meatballs

Meatballs are one of the easiest things to make and can be used in several dishes ranging from soups to subs and sauces or as a main course in a meal. I love to make double or triple the amount I need and freeze them because of their versatility.

Meatballs

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Print

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground meat (I used hamburger)
  • Onion or shallot (diced)
  • About 3-4 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • About 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs( I used panko)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley
  • Dill
  • Cilantro
  • About 1-2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (Optional)

  • Directions

    1. Mix hamburger, shallot, panko, seasonings and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl until well blended.
    2. Roll a small amount in the palms of your hands until it forms a ball.
    3. Place on a baking sheet.
    4. Bake at 425 until golden brown and thoroughly cooked inside (about 20-30 minutes).

Note: The bigger the meatball, the longer it will take to cook. The overall size you make is completely up to you. I generally make mine about a 1 inch in diameter.

    Enjoy!
