This is a fun twist on pizza that is a hit here! Super easy and fun to make…
2 1/4 tsp (one packet) Active dry yeast
1 cup Warm water (110 -115 degrees)
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
2 tbs Oil
3 1/2 cups Flour (I used unbleached flour)

Tomato starter (Recipe here
Toppings of your choice (I used shallots, mushrooms, bell peppers, and pepperoni)
Dissolve yeast in the warm water.

Add sugar, salt, oil to the yeast.
Add the flour and knead until it forms a dough ball.
Let dough rise for 30 minutes (dough will double in size)
Punch down the dough. My family fights over who gets to punch it!
My kids favorite part. Punching down the dough…
Add garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, dill and cilantro to the dough.
Seasonings getting ready to be blended….
Kneading until completely worked in.
Blended together to create serious YUM!
Begin to knead and work with the dough until you get it into the shape and thickness you want for your pizza crust. I use my finger tips a lot for this process. Know that when you bake the pizza the crust will rise. For this recipe you will want a thinner crust. Once you get the shape and thickness of the crust all worked out, place a thin layer of sauce on it.
Sauce on the dough…
Next put your toppings on.
Gently fold the pizza in half
Beginning to be folded over…
Press down the edges until sealed (You can put a thin layer of water on the edges of the crust to seal them better).
Brush with egg.
Basting with egg…
Bake at 425 until golden brown (about 25 minutes)
Golden brown and ready to enjoy…
